Several steps are required to completely install ICS Telecom on the hard drive according to the Windows
platform used (Windows 95 or Windows NT):
Step 1-installing the ICS Telecom software
Step 2-installing the ODBC driver
Step 3-installing the 3D Driver that will allow for 3D Viewing of the cartographic files
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
1- Install the dongle provided with the CD-ROM on the parallel port of your PC
5- De-installing the program can be done via the configuration panel: Add/Remove Programs
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Installation under WINDOWS NT platform
So that the dongle is recognized by your machine, the driver must be installed:
3- Choose via the option Browse, the Setupx86.exe file of the Dongle_nt directory
4- The Installation software is open. Choose the option Install Sentinel Driver option in the Functions Menu
2- Choose via the option Browse, the Setup.exe file of repertory ODBC97 of the CD-Rom
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Depending on the user's operating system follow one of the following procedures to install the 3D Driver:
3.1 WINDOWS 95
1- After installing ICS Telecom (see procedure previous page), launch the Execute function from the Windows
95 Start Up menu

2- Via the Run... option (within the Execute box) highlight the CD installation file (Dxsetup.exe) which can
be found in the following directories :
3D\Directx\Dxsetup.exe
4/ A DirectX(tm) Setup box will appear on screen. Validate the installation by clicking (8 left button) over
the ReInstall DirectX button.:

The installation is being performed. Follow the on-screen instructions.
3.2 WINDOWS NT 4
1-After installing ICS Telecom (see procedure previous page), open NT Explorer to read the files contained
on the CD-ROM
Note :
Depending on the system configuration, the System32 sub-directory may be located in a different directory.
Ex : C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32.
4- Without exiting NT Explorer, run the registration process via the file:
3D\D3_nt4\D3d.reg
The installation is complete
