INTRODUCTION

This assignment is to assess the student ability to understand the use of text
element in Multimedia Systems. Upon completion of this assignment, students are
expected to be able to:
1. explain the use of text in the document that the students choose to produce
using the guidelines of how to use text in multimedia from what they have
learn in class.
2. apply the effects, styles and colors to the text in the document.
3. use the suitable text editor/multimedia tool to produce the document.
4. describe the use of text as captions, narrations, labels and menus.

ACTIVITIES

Students are required to produce one-page text document which the

document should be able to manipulate the use of text in order to deliver
its contents. The document that the student can choose from can be a newsletter,
a magazine article, a poster, an advertisement etc.
You should write a half page report describing:
1. the document type that you want to produce.
2. the text editor tool that you choose to produce your document.
3. the effect you apply to the text with the color, typeface, font type etc.

and you have to produce the document that you mention in your report. Your
document should:
1. use suitable text effects, styles and colors.
2. appropriately address the purpose of text to deliver the contents.
3. interesting enough as a multimedia presentation.
