Performing Arts Experience

Rejoice Band, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church 2013- present

Responsible for playing trumpet for one hour services, without rehearsal. Involves sight-
reading and transposing music while playing.

Ballet 2013-2016
Took ballet classes up to the most advanced class, pointe.

UCLA People to People Film 2013

Worked as an actor with other students to create a short film. Filmed on the Universal Studios
backlots.

Santa Susana Play Production 2013-14

One of the more advanced theatre classes at Santa Susana, which I auditioned for and was a
member of while a freshman.

Volunteer and Leadership Experience

Presidential Award 2014-16

Won award for 100+ and 200+ hours of volunteer service for 3 consecutive years.

Junior Kaleidoscope Judge and Volunteer 2017

Judged groups of young Girl Scouts at a camping competition on tying knots. ALso worked
with girls to teach knots that they did not know in addition to volunteering to help with other
activities.

Leader of Girl Scout Day Camp 2014-15

Planned and oversaw a week long day camp in Simi Valley for hundreds of young Girl
Scouts, along with two other Girl Scouts. Planning took place over the year before the summer of
the camp.
