some of our most complex project types. Mr. Kinyon has extensive experience with medical projects.

David Kim, A.I.A Architect, Principal Mr. Kim joined Harriman Kinyon Architects as project

firms, David is able to help manage projects from the initial design concepts to construction detailing
and documenting to construction administration with a collaborative process which includes the
client, designers, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors. Uses the latest in building model
information technology to help understand, detail and become more efficient in our process.

Walter Jones, Project Architect Mr. Jones joined the firm in 2003 after a number of years working in
the single family arena. Now serving as a project manager, he is specializing in multi-family
affordable housing and specialty medical facilities. His interest in affordable housing started during
his architectural education and has continued through today. Among his responsibilities are initial
design development, construction documents, and construction administration.

7
Project Stages
Program/ Schematic Design Phase
We will meet with you and the user group to review the current plan, document the users program requirements and discuss any
modification that may be desirable. Our design team will evaluate the building to verify existing conditions and identify potential
issues that may impact the design effort.

Design Development Phase

During this phase the architectural plans will continue to develop and engineering design layouts
will be commenced. Outline specifications will be developed. A 35% submittal and design team
meeting will take place for quality assurance. Your comments and input will be incorporated into
the design and submitted for user approval.
Construction Document Phase
With your approval of the previous work we will proceed with Construction
Documents. A 60% submittal will be reviewed for compliance with previous
directives. The design will then proceed to the 100% level and be submitted yet
again for our internal review and comment.

Permit/ Bid Phase

Once construction documentation is completed it will
be submitted to the city for permit, contingent upon the
scope of the project.
