6 Insurance
Dirt Art have spent considerable time searching the insurance marketplace for
policies that appropriately and comprehensively cover the activities of the
business. The professional indemnity and public liability policies held have
been tailor-written for the niche business activities currently undertaken by
Dirt Art. Unlike domestic underwriters Sterling Insurance have offered policies
that provide robust indemnity and liability protection for Dirt Art and their
clients, without the significant loopholes and gaps in cover that appear in
many other terms provided by alternative underwriters. While the policies
provided by Sterling Insurance are significantly more expensive than those
offered in the domestic insurance market, the level of cover and peace of
mind for both Dirt Art and their clients warrants this additional expense.

Dirt Art holds an industry-leading insurance portfolio beyond professional

indemnity and public liability, which includes the following policies;

Policy type Insurer Policy value Renewal date

Professional Sterling Insurance $10m 28th February 2015

Project Overview

Hollybank MTB Park is one of Australias biggest and most highly regarded mountain bike
developments, featuring 20km of purpose-built trails amongst an extensive network of existing
trails. The signature trail of the development, The Juggernaut is often quoted as Australias
best mountain bike trail, renowned for its rocky technicality and flowing berms and jumps.

Hollybank was an extremely challenging build due to the intensely rock terrain, but the
finished result is a testament to Dirt Arts ability to develop unique and technically demanding
machine-built trails.

The finished development also included a large pump track, skills area and dirt jump facility.
