Introduction:

Human Resources mean the workforce of a company. This is also known as Human
Capital. The core functions of HR department include Recruitment and Selection,
Training and Development, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits
and HR Planning.

Responsibility:

HR department plays a pivotal role in the growth of a company by effectively hiring,


managing, developing and retaining its workforce. HR introduces policies and
practices in order of increase performance of employees and to maintain higher
level of Employee Satisfaction.

Q 2: What type of quality they require at the time of hiring?

It is the responsibility of hr manager to make right hiring decision by hiring right


candidate whose skills and abilities matches with the core requirement of a job /
position. A best hiring decision is made by keeping in view the qualification;
abilities; experience (Competency), and compatibility of an applicant / candidate.

We reject an applicant if his / her skill set does not match with the skill requirements

in order to have a clear view if candidate has a legitimate and verifiable record.
