Myanmar and Thailand in the past.

They attacked each other many times, but

they have their reason. At that time Thailand had many white elephants and many

slaves, according to Myanmar. Myanmar scared Thailand at that time and they

noticed themselves that Thailand was not a good neighborhood because Siam was a

thief. Myanmar has many good advantages in warfare such as near China and they

can escaped war from other country because China protect them, but they still have

some war with China, but nowadays Thailand and Myanmar have already improved;

they traded many goods and resources. Also many people in Myanmar moved their

settlement to Thailand because of better government system and better salary.

While in previous centuries Myanmar tried to invade Thailand, but todays our

relationship is balanced.

In 2081(BE.), Myanmar tried to invade Thailand because Muang Chiangkran

was colonized by Thailand for a long time. 10years later, Myanmar cant win the war

again because of Thailand used Ayutthaya to be settlement with river around, so

Myanmar cannot entered Ayutthaya. All they can is only stayed outside around the

river. Myanmar can carried only cannon with low power because they have to move

over mountains. Thats war we called . Suriyothai is

the first woman who entered the war, but no one knows because she wear all men

uniform. In 2106 the third war happened because of white elephant. In this war

Myanmar attacked north part of Thailand and they won the war. When Thailand

noticed that Myanmar tried to invade Thailand, Thailand tried to defense, but they

cannot because Myanmar have some Portuguese to help them about cannon. The
result is Thailand move back and set the base in Ayutthaya. The fourth war was the

first time that Thailand cannot defensed Ayutthaya, 2011. The main problem is

betrayed Thailand by move the people that have a great skill of

fighting to the place that dont have any war, but move people that have less skill of

fighting to important colony. Thailand got surrounded by Myanmar for about 9

months. Myanmar can win that war easily because Thai dont have any great

warriors. Thai lose Ayutthaya for 15 years because of Thais people and that was the

first time that Thailand lose Ayutthaya. Compared with present time, both of them

are now improved and balanced. They trade many goods and exchange their

cultural. Government visited each other, (Prayuth) to talked about workers (labor),

stop drugs, facilitate, public health, against human trafficking, and develop their

country. Thailand donate about $100,000 to Myanmar when they got natural

disaster. By 2558, (BE) in terms of economic, Thailand and Myanmar total trade

were about 261,975billion baht. Thailand import about 121,185 billion baht and

export about 140,789 baht to Myanmar. Most of Myanmar people who migrated to

Thailand and become maid or house keeper because of high salary and less living

cost, also better government system. According to Wikipedia, about 1,418,472

Burmese people were in Thailand. As I said that the main reason that influence

Burmese was about salary. The change in both of them is they both in the ASEAN

which can help them to have peace inside their country. According to weforum.org

they said If ASEAN was a country it would be seventh largest economy in the world

with a combined GPD of $2.4 trillion in 2013. Economic will grow up very fast for

ASEAN country because they will have fair trade or we can call free trade.
Nowadays Thailand and Myanmar were oligarchy because both of them were control

by a group of military or we can call military instead of oligarchy.

Today, the relationship of Myanmar and Thailand are balanced. When

compare to the past we will see that Myanmar and Thailand relationship were bad.

They invaded each other and many war occurred because of demanded on the land,

white elephant, and slaves. Myanmar perspective to Thailand was bad they thought

Thailand was a thief. Myanmar attacked Thailand many times until Thailand lose

their colony. Some of Thai people got caught and force to betray Thailand. When we

move to present Thai and Myanmar relationship are balanced and improve. They

trade many goods to create the connection of economics and relationship. They

help each other to solve the problem of drugs, facilitate and public health. Many of

Myanmar people migrate to Thailand because of high salary and less living cost.

Every years Thailand import and export above 100bilion baht. This is the main point

that make their relationship balanced because of money cycle will continue growing

and stronger. In terms of drugs they both have tried to stop by limiting the area

which can grow weeds (marihuana). Less the amount of drugs across the country.

Increase the amount of police in border area and beware the people who escape

from country. The result is their relationship balanced and improved; no war

between this countries, no fighting, no invaded, lower amount of crime, less the

amount of drugs dealer, less problem. No conflict between them and their economic

continue increase. If one of them got natural disaster, another will send military to

help them and give them food or sanitary. This can prove that relationship between

them have already improved. ASEAN is the important thing that make both Thailand

and Myanmar economic grow up and rise very fast because they have free trade or
fair trade. The last evidence which can show that they both have balanced is many

people from Myanmar migrate to Thailand because of less cost living and high

salary, but also some of Thai people move to Myanmar because of problem about

government in their country.
