UWA students are invited to a special discussion with Australias Ambassador

to Jordan, Mr Miles Armitage, on

Syrian refugees in Jordan

Mr Armitage served as Ambassador to Timor-Leste,

with earlier postings to Manila, New York and
Islamabad.

He has been Ambassador for Counter-Terrorism,

Assistant Secretary of the Parliamentary and Media
Branch, the Maritime South East Asia Branch and in the
Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet of the
Americas, Asia and Trade Branch.
