1. Create New Project


Click New
a. Input Project Information
- Project Name > BQ Rule: SMM2 > Measurement System: Metric
- Project Info
- Compile Info
Complete > Finish

2. Project Setting
i. Project
a. Specify all rebar setting as per user's practice
Creation - Specific Weight Setting, Bend & Hook, Wastage
and
Setting Floor Setting
b. Insert Floor and Define:
- Name
- Floor Height
- Ensure reference floor is Ground Floor
- Bottom Elevation (eg 0.00 to 0.20)
- Thickness of Slab : eg. 150mm

Grade Setting
- If the information has been edited, the cells will turn green

Project Setting

Create Axis Gridline (Manually)


Module navigation bar > Drawing Input > Axis > Axis Grid
New > New Orthogonal Axis Grid
ii. Identify Define Axis Gridline according to Architectural Drawing
Axis Input "Top" and "Left" Axis in Accordance to Drawing

Import CAD Drawing
2D Drawing Manager > Drawing(Z)
iii. Import Drawing Management
Drawing Add Drawing > Select the needed drawing in the folder then click
"Open" eg. CAD folder > Structural Layout Plan

Drawing Management
Split > Select CAD Entities > Right Click
Define Name (eg: Ground Floor Plan)
iv. Split
Double Click on the new formed drawing to complete splitting

Relocate Drawing
Press "X" on keyboard to ensure axis is next to drawing
Click "Relocate" & Specify Base Point on CAD Drawing(eg: A1-9)
v. Relocate Drag CAD Drawing to Anchor Point on Axis Gridline (eg: A1-9)

Folder > Column
Element list > New > Type of Column (eg. Rectangular)
Define Name, Section Width, Height in Attribute Editor
Click on Draw Entity by Point/Rotation Point > Draw Column

Folder > Beam
New > Type of Beam (eg. Rectangular)
Define Name, Section Width, Height in Attribute Editor
Click Draw Line> Draw Beam

2. Create Upstand (U/S) Beam
Break previously created beam GH5 (140x450)
Single Break > Select Entity > Select Break Point
Click on selected U/S and Define Name, Width, Height in Attribute Editor
Define Start & End Top Elevation > (eg: Floor Bottom Elevation + 0.05)

Click Beam > Rebar Quantity > Rebar Layout

- Specify the start and end point of layout area for links > Right click to confirm

4. Calculate Identify Main Bar

New In-Situ Slab > Define Name, Thickness in Attribute Editor

Finishes Folder > Flooring > New Flooring
Define Name (eg: Int-300x600-HT-Wet Kitchen)
Change Calculate Waterproof in Attribute Editor to "Yes" for
waterproofing
Draw Point > Draw Floor Finishes
Define Vertical Waterproofing > Set All Sides > Right Click Floor Finishes c/w Vertical Waterproofing
Define Vertical Waterproofing Height (eg: 300mm) > Ok

b. Skirting
Finishes Folder > Skirting > New Skirting
Define Name (eg: Int-150x300-Utility) > Define Height
Draw Point > Draw Skirting
Break Skirting > Single Break > Select Entity > Right Click
Select Breaking Point > Right Click Skirting in 3D View
Select Specific Skirting > Rename the Skirting

c. Wall Finishes
Finishes Folder > Wall Finish > New Interior Wall Finish
Define Name (eg: Int-PP-Living Room)
Draw Point > Draw Wall Finishes

Element 7 d. Ceiling Finishes Suspended & Non-Suspended Ceiling in 3D

Finishes Folder > Wall Finish > New Exterior Wall Finish
Auto Layout > Ex-Wall Outline > Select Target Floor
Overwrite Entities > Auto Layout Succeeded > View in 3D
