Brigada Eskwela is a DepED program that started 2003 which refers to National
Schools Maintenance Week or School Act made in 1998, that poses a great challenge to
stakeholders, parents, teachers, students to work together to repair and prepare schools every
third week of May before Opening.

Brigada Eskwela is a venue to strengthen the spirit of volunteerism and public-private

partnership for education as embodied in RA 8525 or the Adopt-A-School-Program to provide
private-sector companies and professionals to contribute in improving public education system
in the country. Moreover, to maximize civil participation and utilize local resources to improve
public schools, this weeklong event presents various tasks are need to be done. 2017 Brigada
Eskwela Week will be on May 15-May 20; however, school is in dire need of financial resources
to be able to implement the programs for the needed services.

The School wishes to prepare the school being the second home of students be
conducive to learning-teaching procedures. Attached is the Statement of Interest to seek your
support either financial or in kind to be able to realize this Brigada Eskwela Program.
