often verbatim from the English text of the
Bible. Even so, Harris and Hershey breathe such
life into their roles that this movie is, in my
opinion, the best in the entire series. It even
deserves a high rank among the best Bible

DVD 2 : Joseph: In Joseph, The Bible

Collection returns to form. With great
performances by Ben Kingsley as Potiphar, Paul
Mercurio as Joseph, and Martin Landau as
Jacob, Joseph tells the compelling story about
Israel's son sold into slavery by his own
treacherous brothers, Joseph rises to become the
just king of Egypt decades later-but his wisdom
is put to the test when his brothers return.. 3 hrs.,

DVD 3: Moses: An uneven retelling of the Moses story, the sheer force and epic of which
pales in comparison to more grand Hollywood adaptations of this story. Even so, there are some
interesting interpretive decisions on the part of the filmmakers that show real sensitivity to the
biblical text. For instance, Moses is presented as a man of poor speech, who is ridiculed by the
Pharoah and his court in his years living within that household, in sharp contrast to the eloquent
and imposing Moses of the Ten Commandments. 3 hrs. 2 in/NR.
 DVD 4: Samson and Delilah: Samson is a simple shepherd with the strength of a titan and
the destiny to fight the Philistines and General Tariq. Delilah is a Philistine beauty, torn between
her love for the shepherd and loyalty to her people. As told in the Old Testament, Samson's
betrayal by Delilah left him in slavery. But Samson's epic revenge vanquished his Philistine foes
and made him one of the greatest heroes of the Bible. Samson and Delilah is the powerful tale of
a deception that brought down an empire... and sealed their names in eternity.

DVD 5: Joshua: Joshua & The Battle Of Jericho is one of the most inspiring stories in the
Old Testament. It suggests that anything can be accomplished when one has faith in God. Now,
with this beautifully animated film, you and your family can experience the power of this classic
tale. As the story begins, we learn that the Israelites-under the leadership of Moses-have been
wandering the wilderness for forty years. Now, they are about to enter the Promised Land. But
Moses will not be going with them. His time has come to join God in Heaven. And so, a young
man named Joshua is appointed to take Moses' place. Like Moses, Joshua realizes that nothing
can be accomplished without God's help. The Lord rewards Joshua for his faith by revealing a
plan that will allow the Israelites to take the city of Jericho. As the action unfolds, we witness a
series of divine miracles reminiscent of those which allowed the Israelites to escape from Egypt
many years earlier. And eventually, we rejoice with them, as they enter the Promised Land.

DVD 6: Jesus: Jeremy Sisto stars as the son of God in this 174 minute production that
vividly explores the life and mission of Jesus of Nazareth. Epic in scale and featuring a strong
