Meet the Art Masters Kahoot Quiz/Discussion Survey

Directions for Let's Quiz on the Art Masters:

1. All participating students will break into 5 groups of 6 students.


2. Each group will receive an iPad and decide on a group leader who will represent the
group and answer on the Kahoot app.
3. Group leader will open the Kahoot and entering the game pin and naming your group
and individual names for attendance purposes.
4. Per my ready, set, go each group will start the quiz at the same time
5. The quiz is made up 15 individually timed questions:
a. First 5 questions are 30 seconds
b. Second set of 5 questions are 20 seconds
c. Third set of 5 questions are 10 seconds
i. As the quiz progresses, questions will get harder but the possible
amount of points becomes higher
6. As each individual question is answered, we will discuss as a entire classroom the
answer choices and statistics.
7. Please work together and respect each others opinions and answers during the quiz
any disrespectful comments will not be tolerated and will eliminate the student from
continuing the quiz.
8. The group with the most right answers will be named the winning group and receive a
5 points extra credit on the next exam.

1. All participating students will break into 5 groups of 6 students (different groups).
2. Each group will receive an iPad and decide on a group leader who will represent the
group and answer on the Kahoot app.
3. Group leader will open the Kahoot and entering the game pin and naming your group
and individual names for attendance purposes.
4. Per my ready, set, go each group will start the discussion at the same time
5. The discussion is made up of 10 questions, 2 minutes each:
a. Please use the entire 2 minutes to discuss and answer each question
b. Some points will be rewarded for answering on the app, but the majority of
points will need to be earned through further classroom discussion (see
number 8)
6. Each group will have 2 minutes to discuss and form an answer based on majority rule -
this is not to eliminate personal opinion but to help build our communication and
persuasion skills. If your group chooses an answer you disagree with, you will have the
opportunity to share your personal opinion.
7. As this activity is discussion based, we will spend 5 to 10 minutes on each question
with each group taking the floor, discussing their group answer, hearing out other
group members personal opinion and so forth.
8. Majority of points will be earned by each group presentation of well-formulated
answers with detailed facts, supporting evidence and good communication and
collaboration skills.
a. Points will be determined by instructors discretion
9. The winning group with the strongest and most articulated answers will receive 5 extra
credit points on the next exam.
