1. Introduction
This document provides the users with the detailed instructions on how to operate and use the
BROKER systems PRODUCT EXTENSION OF COVER MAINTENANCE module.

1.1 Purpose
The user guide document presents the functions and features that are available for the
PRODUCT EXTENSION OF COVER MAINTENANCE module. This document also captures the
user interface screens based on the functionalities and features of the module. However,
future changes may still be possible based on the additional change requests that will be
submitted by the concerned units. This document has four (4) sections. These are the
Creation, Viewing, Editing and Deletion of Product Extension of Cover. The section on the
Creation section will provide the procedure on how to create and indicate information
pertaining to Product Extension of Cover. In the Viewing section, user will be guided on
how to search and view records that have been maintained in the system. The Editing
section will explain the procedure on how to edit or modify information pertaining to
records that have been created. The Deletion part lists the steps on how to remove or
delete Product Extension of Cover that have been maintained in the system.

1.2 Audience
The documents intended audiences are the users and system administrator of the
BROKER system Product Extension of Cover Maintenance module.

2. Product Extension of Cover
2.1 Create Product Extension of Cover

1. In the system menu screen, go to MAINTENANCE > PRODUCT EXTENSION OF

COVER.

NOTE: The system menu that will be available to the user will be based on the user
group/s where the user was included and the rights defined in each group.

2. In the Product Extension of Cover List screen, indicate the Line of Insurance and
Product Type from the list where the Product Peril will be added. After indicating
these values, click Add New Section.

3. Still in the Product Extension of Cover List screen, type the Section name. Click
Add Peril.

4. In the Add Peril screen, place a beside the Peril name to select record and click
Add. Otherwise, click Cancel.

NOTE: The extensions of cover that will appear in the dropdown list per Line of
Insurance and Product Type have been confined based on the Product table that had

 been provided by BDOI Broker to Genpact. There is no User Interface in the current
system design of the Broker System that will allow the user to define an extension of
cover to a Line of Insurance or Product Type.

5. In the Product Extension of Cover List screen, click Save to keep record.
Otherwise, click X at the right section of the record.

6. In the Saving confirmation screen, click OK.

2.2 View Product Extension of Cover

 1. From the Product Extension of Covers List screen (section 2.2.1.2 above); the
system will display the Product Extension of Covers that had been created based on
the Line of Insurance and Product Type. Select other Line of Insurance and Product
Type to view other Product Extension of Covers that had been created in the system.

NOTE: The following data will be displayed to the user: Section and Extension of Cover.

2.3 Edit Product Extension of Cover

1. From the Product Extension of Cover List screen (section 2.2.1.2 above), click
X beside the Extension of Cover name or click Delete Section to delete an existing
extension of Cover or section respectively. Click Add Peril to add another peril to a
particular section.

2. In the Add Peril screen, place a beside the Peril name to select record and click
Add. Otherwise, click Cancel.

NOTE: User is allowed to add multiple extension of cover.

3. In the Product Extension of Cover List screen, click Save to keep record.
Otherwise, click X at the right section of the record to delete the Extension of Cover.

 4. In the Saving confirmation screen, click OK.

2.4 Delete Product Extension of Cover

1. From the Product Extension of Cover List screen (section 2.2.1.2 above) screen,
click X beside the extension of cover name or click Delete Section to delete an
existing peril or section respectively.
