Some of the important points discussed in todays meeting are as follows:

Exports: Responsibility - Capt. Prakash

Vessel Thor Fortune berthed on 27th Sept at NMPT to load 26 sets of WTGs from Padu
& 4 sets of LM blades from Tuticorin. Out of this 12 Nacelles, 7 Hubs and 7 Nosecones
already loaded in vessel
To inform Mr. Kutty on acquisition of land in Kandla for storage of Blades
Coastal Movements expected 4 sets of SB46 blades from NMPT to Tuticorin next
week

Imports: Responsibility Mr. NK Menon

To follow-up with Mr. Rahul (Singapore) for MTO license on priority - to get Agency
agreement from SE Shipping
To prepare and share list of prospected customers with the below details:
o Expected Revenue
o Expected Profit
o Credit Terms
o Advance Payment Requirement, etc
NBD Update:
o MAIT Contract is in finalisation stage, expected to be awarded by Monday

Quality: Responsibility Mr. Mugundan

Below initiatives are on hold due to fund constraints:

o Plant to Port Mechanical Trailers modification for operational Cost Reduction
o All India Transport to various site Modification of enroute from the plant to
Hubli & carry out the movement directly to the site
Plant-wise Performance Matrix have been shared with the employees of Domestic and
Export team including the HODs

Domestic Transportation: Responsibility Mr. Dharmendrasinh

WTGs Transit time specified in the SLA been revised

Penalty clause to be included as an Addendum in SLA 2012-13 which are as follows:
o Damages below 10,000/- to be deducted from vendors invoice where there is
complete negligence by the service provider
o Transportation cost for sending the damaged FGs for repair to the nearest
plant to be borne by the vendor
o Above points are to be conveyed to the transporters
Route survey of priority sites Baroda (Import NBD), Wilturi completed. Modification
not in SEFLI scope

Finance: Responsibility Mr. Rakesh Agarwal

To convey vendors on reconciliation of their accounts as depicted in SEFLI accounts to

avoid backdated entries
To reconfirm with vendors & settle the vendor invoices received with revised (reduced)
rates and book the cost in accounts

New Business Development: Responsibility Mr. Gouranga Basu

Updates:
o EMCO 2 Trafo from Mumbai to Mirza, Assam has been lifted & are in transit
expected to reach Kolkata in last week of October
o GE Power Contract awarded for movement of Transformers for Pan India
from Chennai & Hyderabad. Movement expected in 1st week of Oct.
o EMCO (CORE) 2 Trafo lifted on 26th Sept, one for Punjab and the another for
Burhwal
o Sarika Enterprises 1 movement from Kolkata to Sorang, Material to be
lifted tomorrow
o Voith Rongnichu to Bhasmay, Vehicle to be placed tomorrow
o AREVA T&D RFQ already floated, movement expected in Nov / Dec12

Human Resource: Responsibility Ms. Savita Iyer

To interview & appoint 4 priority vacant positions for Chennai & Hyderabad location by
next week
To start the recruitment process for the following positions in NBD:
o High priority 1 Loading supervisor & 1 Staff at Chennai by next week
o High priority 1 Loading supervisor & 1 Staff at Hyderabad by next week
o A Marketing Manager for Surface Transportation reporting to Mr. Basu
o A dedicated Marketing Manager for Freight Forwarding
