The online shop for M&A Floor Center is hosted in an e-commerce website called
Happy.PH. The choice of host is influenced by the following:
1. Customization of website themes or design
2. Allowance of online as well as offline payments (bank-to-bank transactions)
for this project we will be using offline payments
3. Availability of seller dashboard, sales and stocks controlling and monitoring
4. Availability of sales tactics such as discount vouchers and alike
5. Ease of access

A. The Site Design

The site design mainly works around the colors white, with red and blue as accent
colors. In psychology of colors that affect sales, white suggests purity and
simplicity, other than the fact that this color would not give a crowded effect on
the design as the site has numerous pictures. The page loading time is also taken
into consideration, and adding another background picture would take much longer
to load than just having a color as background. Blue is believed to connote
dependability and improve customer loyalty, and this somehow breaks the white
monotony. On the other hand, red is a catchy eye color and is used only to catch
attention to certain details such as promos.

The header in all pages included navigational links. The words under What Do You
Need Today are links that are connected to albums / collections where the
products are sorted. Example, all wall tiles products are under the wall tiles
collection and when you click the wall tiles under What Do You Need Today you
will be redirected to this collection. The purpose is for clients ease of access.
The social media buttons are also placed to indicate the existence of the shop in
social media. This also helps in building a rapport with the customers as they can
provide feedback or ask inquiries in this platform.

A-1. Site Sections

The main page is the Shop section the latest 6 items are shown. A button See All
Items can be seen as well, which will show the customer all the items being sold.

This page gives a quick information regarding the business.

A-3. Contact Us

This page informs the customers where they can contact the seller for whatever
reason it may be: inquiries, after-sales support, order follow up, etc. Included in this
section is the Contact Form where customers can leave messages for the seller. This
will be posted in the sellers dashboard to which the seller can view.

In the same note the customers can also reach the seller through social media.

A-4. Shop Rules

This page includes the rules and guidelines in shopping, which is as follows:

a. No scammers, bogus buyers and joy reservers --- these will be dealt
with accordingly and can be prosecuted in the courts of law.
b. Once you've filled up your cart with items you like, check out and
fill up the order form. A confirmation message / record of your order
will be sent to your e-mail.
c. Payments are made through bank deposits. Bank details are as
follows:

d. It is mandatory that after payment the buyer should e-mail the
scanned copy of the deposit slip to mafcbatangas@gmail.com along
with your name, address and contact number. Once we receive a
copy of your deposit slip and verified the same, we will send you a
message confirming the same, along with delivery date.
e. Orders will not be processed until the e-mail of deposit slip is made
by the buyer.
f. Buyer shall shoulder the delivery rates.
g. Upon delivery, a tracking number will be sent to your e-mail and
contact number. Deliveries are made through LBC and will be made
2 working days after the confirmation of payment.
h. The seller reserves the right to cancel any orders when it deem just
as long as the reason for the cancellation is communicated with the
buyer. In case that the seller cancels the order after payment, the
seller is obliged to return the money to the buyer unless the buyer
makes another purchase.
i. The buyer can only cancel the order before delivery date. Once the
delivery is made (seller has sent the package through courier) the
buyer cannot any more cancel his purchase. If payment is made
and the purchase is cancelled before delivery date, the buyer may
refund his money, but he will be charged 20% of the purchase
made as cancellation fees.

A-5. Track and Trace

When clicked, a page will be loaded informing the user how to trace their packages.
A link to the courier is provided.

A-6. Promos and Discounts

This page shows the ongoing discounts and promos within the site, along with
information and terms for each. Along with this, images informing people of such
discounts and promos are shown in the main page / Shop page.

B. Payments and Various Charges

As mentioned earlier, payments are made through bank. The seller requires that a
copy of the deposit slip be sent through e-mail for verification and safety of the
seller. Moreover, this will serve as reference once the seller counterchecks the
deposit with the bank. The counter checking can be done through the banks (in this
case, BDOs ) online banking facility.

Delivery charges included not only the courier fee but also the courier insurance.
Information regarding the shipping price is included in every item page and the
same is computed as well upon check out.

The prices on products are slightly higher than the normal rates because it also
covers the 5% transaction fee that the host requires the seller (Happy.PH requires
invoices the seller 5% transaction fee which takes place when the sellers sales
reach Php 10,000), as well as other fees that could be overseen at the moment.

Cancellation fees are also implemented. This serves as safeguard for the seller in
the event that the buyer decides to cancel his order and the seller has already
started processing or packing the order.
