Juveniles Crime Should Not Be Punish Life Sentences.

Juveniles crime, teenagers who committed a crime, usually between the age of 10 to 18

years old. Since 1988, 61 percent of juveniles who committed a crime were related to rape,

murder, and aggravated assault; however, the reasons lead to their case maybe come from their

family background. Because their brain is not fully developed, juveniles should not be punished

life sentences in prison even though they commit a serious crime.

On 2012, the Supreme Court argued should teen committed murder be sentenced to

prison for a lifetime. The majority agree that they should not be punished for a lifetime; however,

the other four justices disagree. Justice Alito celebrates the fact that Even a 17 and a half-year-

old who sets off a bomb in a crowded mall or guns down a dozen students and teachers is a

child and must be given a chance to persuade a judge to permit his release into society. In

addition, teenagers brain are not fully developed until the age of 25; therefore, scientist proves

that their brain works ways different from adults brain. Teenagers commonly making decisions

based on their emotion, they are not thinking much compared to their feeling. The kid's action

can explain on their parents, parents have the most influence on the child. In the article Startling

Finds on Teenage Brain, Paul Thompson stated: The biggest surprise in recent teen brain

research is the finding that a massive loss of brain tissue in the teen years. During a teenager

era, the gray matter had the most affected on control a child actions and emotions. The violent

actions are most occurs in teen years. Teenagers decide to do something often base on their

feeling; however, they should get a chance to become a better person.

Even though a person actions against the laws as their younger age, they should have a

chance to benefits the society. According to Juveniles Dont Deserve Life Sentences, Gail

Garinger argues the court has previously recognized that children should not be condemned to

die in prison without being given a meaningful opportunity to obtain release based on

demonstrated maturity and rehabilitation. The health professionals believe that as a juvenile

grow up will fall in the majority and being productive in the society. When a person did

something wrong, they should be punished; however, teenagers punishments should be different

and hard as an adult. Many juveniles who committed crimes were sent into adults prison and

being abusive. The federal government had tried many times keeping a young teenage from

sexually abusive and violence in prison; however, this doesnt work out. The best ways are to

create a juvenile school to keep them away from bad influence.

Even though a child who committed a crime at their young age, we should give them a

chance to be productive to the society. In addition, put them in prison for a lifetime is not the best

results, that will keep them from questioning and negative thinking. Their actions can pay for

years to teach them a lesson but they also need to be forgiven.
