ISTE Standards-T are the standards this course covers. You will self assess your
knowledge of them at the beginning of the term and then reflect on growth at the
end. This is one of many ways of approaching integrating technology that we will
explore this term.
Directions: Use this as a guide to write a blog post or copy it into your own
Google Docs, complete it and link to it in your blog post. If you do a Google docs,
make sure you share it with your instructor aduviric@oregonstate.edu (Other ways
of embedding it in your blog post are also acceptable.) Rate yourself on a scale of
1-10 (1 = minimal experience. 10 = deep understanding and application). Give
example(s) to support your choice and provide a brief goal of action for growth.
Please note particularly at the beginning of the term, it is fine to explain you do not
understand some of the terms in the standard or have experience. It makes a great
reason to be in the course, set goals to understand, and learn in a collaborative
community. Dont spend hours doing this. It is intended to give a brief
overview and introduction.
