The Division Selection Committee shall conduct an evaluation of documents for ranking and
interview to establish a Rank List for School Year 2016-2017 for the above-stated positions on the
following schedule:
Applicants shall submit a letter of intention and supporting documents in three (3) folders. All
folders for evaluation shall be submitted to Mrs. Barbara D. Labe, Administrative Officer IV (Personnel),
on or before January 20, 2017.

CRITERIA FOR PRINCIPAL AND HEAD TEACHER POSITIONS
(DepEd Order No. 42, s. 2007)
Experience must be relevant to the duties and functions of the position to be filled, with
every year given a point but not to exceed ten (10) points. Every month of service in excess
of one year shall be given corresponding point.
Example: 1 yr. & 5 mos. 1 5/12 = 1.4 points
5 yrs. & 11 mos 5 11/12 = 5.9 points
B. Innovations (5 pts.)
- Conceptualized an innovative work plan and properly
documented and attested by authorized regional/division
official - 1 pt.
- Started the implementation - 2 pts.
- Fully implemented in the school - 3 pts.
- Adopted in the district - 4 pts
- Adopted in the division - 5 pts..
D. Publication/Authorship (5 points)
- Sole authorship of a book - 5 pts.
- Co-authorship of a book - 4 pts.
(Shall be divided by the number of authors)
- Articles published in a journal/newspaper/magazine
of wide circulation - 1 pt.
(Per article but not to exceed 4 pts.)
V. Potential (5 pts.)
Note: An income generating project on green revolution not recognized by the Division Office but
with other supporting papers maybe credited in letter C for 12 points

SECOND LEVEL

The performance rating of the candidate for the last three (3) periods prior to screening
should be at least Very Satisfactory.
Experience must be relevant to the duties and functions of the position to be filled.
b. Innovations - 4 pts.
Innovative work plan properly documented, approved by
immediate chief and attested by authorized regional/division
official:
Conceptualized - 1 pt.
Started the implementation - 2 pts.
Fully implemented in the school -3 pts.
Adopted in the district - 4 pts.
Adopted in the division - 4 pts.
d. Publication/Authorship - 4 pts.
* Articles published in a journal/newspaper/magazine of
wide circulation - 1 pt. for each article but not to exceed 4 pts
* Co-authorship of a book - 3 pts.

E. Potential (10 points)
This refers to the capacity and ability of a candidate to assume the duties of the position
to be filled up and those of higher level.
This factor includes human relations, stress tolerance and decisiveness, which would
indicate the capability of the candidate to be an asset to the entire service system and utilize
his/her talents and expertise to the maximum.
The performance rating of the candidate for the last three (3) periods prior to screening
should be at least Very Satisfactory.
