Case Study: Auckland Real Estate Prices Rise

Explanation of Case Study:

From the last decade, the prices of houses in the Auckland, New Zealand is
increasing day by day. Using system dynamic approach, we are going to
determine what are the variables that influencing the rising prices in the
Auckland. Our aim is to diagnose the relationship between the variable so
that we are able to forecast this rising behavior in the future.

Several variables are involved in the real estate market which are
responsible for this rise in price. These variables are:

1. Prices of construction material


2. Migration
3. Specialized labor
4. Inflation
5. Stock of houses
6. Lack of planning towards housing and so on.

Various regions of the world are facing the housing problem. Likewise, the
Auckland is facing difficulty in fulfilling the demand and supply of the
houses at a reasonable price. The construction companies like Dempsey
wood and more has to play the role by anticipating the demand for housing
and starting construction of the housing beforehand. Rising housing prices
as well as predicting its development in near future is vital.
