Colonizing The Moon!!

 Recreation and Entertainment on The Moon
The Moon has all the recreation and entertainment you need. If you weighed 75
pounds on The Earth, you would weigh 12.4 pounds on the Moon. If you weighed
34 kilograms on The Earth, you would weigh 5.644 kilograms on The Moon. The
Moon has 83.3 percent less gravity than The Earth.You could play bowling. The
pins would be up in the air floating above the ground. It would be there because the
ball would float and it could go up and knock the pins down. Instead of the pins
being knocked down, they would float up when you hit them. You could, also, play
basketball. You would have to make everything six times bigger. Even, you would
jump six times higher the goal would be sixty feet instead of the usual ten feet. You
could go sightseeing because you could look at other planets, stars, comets, and
meteors. You could play MOONBALL You try to throw balls at Mars.

Human Habitats on the Moon
Are you looking for a natural satellite to live on? Probably not, but after
this report youll be packing your bags and hopping on the next rocket to
the moon. On the moon, there would be a lot more space because it is
space. If only you could breath there, which is why Im here to day. There are
so many people living on earth today, but some say that it could eventually
get even more crowded. With research, I have found out that so many
people are born each day, approximately 250,000! I also have found that
about 15 people are born each second and about 3 people die every second.
Once I thought about it, I found that the population grows about 80 million
people every year. So that concludes that it is a great idea to move to the
moon.

If you are trying to decide whether to colonize Mars or the moon, choose the
moon. Some of the resources humans need to have in order to survive on the
moon are, food, water, transportation, and air. You would need all of these to
survive, but you would need air the most because if you go without air for just a
few minutes you cant survive, but if you had these things you be ready to go and
colonize the moon. Also, there is water on the moon, new observations from three
different spacecraft have found unambiguous evidence of water across the
surface of the moon. Recent discoveries do prove that the moon has an
atmosphere consisting of some unusual gasses, including sodium and potassium,
which are not found on Earth, Mars, or Venus. The moon has no wind so the
weather is very calm. If you wanted to grow things on the moon then you could
build a greenhouse in the shape of a dome with all the things you need in it like,
soil, oxygen, and sunlight. That is why you should colonize the moon.
Architecture
Some of the main problems you will encounter when building is the low-gravity and
the dusty soil. Materials would also be a problem mostly because of transportation.
The best way to transport from building to building would be roads. The most
widely used form of energy should be solar power. The building itself should be
sturdy and tough to prevent a breach in the oxygen. It should also be large to fit
lots of people and have a garden or greenhouse to provide fresh produce. The soil
on the Moon is dusty and does not provide good traction so flying or hovering
vehicles would be best. The foundation of the buildings would be drilled into the
ground so the low-gravity wouldnt be a big problem.
 How Would we get to the Moon?

To get to the moon we would have to take a rocket. It would take about three days to get to the
moon, so they would have to take food on the ship. The people aboard would have to exercise, because if
we dont, we would lose bones. The people on the ship would have to be very fit to be on there way to
moon, but Im getting off topic. The people would have to get along, because it's a long trip.

Once we got there we will have flying cars, or something close to that. They would work by little tiny
rockets on the ends. They would have an oxygen tank inside of them. I bet youre wondering, We dont
have flying cars here, so why would we have them on the moon? well Im glad you asked. Since we have
a lot of gravity here we cant pick up our feet and float around, but on the moon, we can!

To communicate we could have a satellite between the earth and the moon. And to send packages,
we would send them down a tube.
