Density of milk of lime solution

Scope

This Technical Information Paper relates the density of Ca(OH)2 solutions at 20C to the concentration of
Ca(OH)2. Various weight relationships are given in the table, as well as Baum density values.

Safety precautions

Gloves and goggles should be worn when working with Ca(OH)2 solutions. Ca(OH)2 can cause skin dryness
and/or irritation, as well as eye damage.
