IncreaseinMedicalExaminationFeesEffectiveOctober1,2016

St.Luke'sMedicalCenterExtensionClinic(SLEC),theEmbassy'saccreditedpanelphysician,willbegincharginga new medical examination fee of

Php 16,042.50 for most immigrant visa applicants effective October 1, 2016. The medical fee increase is based on mandatory gonorrhea
testingforallimmigrantvisaapplicants15yearsofageandolderasinstructedbytheU.S.CentersforDiseaseControlandPrevention.

Pleasenotethatthemedicalfeesforchildren14yearsofageoryoungerwillremainatPhp8,600.However,ifSLECdeterminesthatachild
applicantmustbetestedforgonorrhea,SLECwillchargethecorrespondinggonorrheatestfeeseparately.
