Seriously! It is not about promoting
sustainable Development Goals alone but
making SDG project and plan sustainable.
After series of on-field team-facilitation
and discussion/training about how and
what we do at Tech Tutors and Authors ,
the volunteer lead the team to one of our
existing school for our activities.
Mr Farayibi Adesoji does not only display
mastery but he displayed why we call him
a professor during our project
management training. The lead facilitator
was only there to participate during the
breakout session and the experience was
fantastic.
I just want to use this medium to say
thank you to all other volunteers

Perpetual teasing, if not checked, will turn to
bullying and this is one of the major social
issues in school.
To give your speech some level of depth you
need to create a big scene entry, one of such
is humorously introducing the salient point
of discussion but all those faded when I was
hit by live situation while I was on my way to
the school and the one I witnessed on the
assembly. I had to choose which one I will I
have to drop for the other.
I dropped truancy for bullying and I started
my speech from condemning the act without
looking at the direction of the perpetrator
but my biggest joy was to see the oppressed
smiling and back in the scene.

One of the major problems that we really
need to deal with in Nigeria is the problem of
"poor maintenance culture", the same
school I used to know with enough
classroom now suffers from lack of
classroom... wait! The lack of enough
classroom is not as result of increase in
number but as result of damaged structures.
We need to partner in order to achieve goal 4
i.e. #QualityEducation.
We call on corporate organisations,
individuals and government to help us
achieve a world where there will be no
inequality in terms of education between the
"have" and the "have not". We can do this
one community at a time.

According to Malala Yousafzai "All the SDGs come
down to education"
Audrey Hepburn also said quality education has
the power to transform societies in a single
generation, provide children with the protection
they need from the hazards of poverty, labour
exploitation and disease, and given them the
knowledge, skills, and confidence to reach their
full potential.
I will borrow and adapt a popular saying "educate
a child and extend the life span of a history"
On these note, it is quite obvious that quality
education promotion and its advocacy is the
bedrock upon which every other goal will have to
rest upon if they are going to be achieved. The
knowledge needed to achieve every other goals,
formed the foundational pursuant of
#Qualityeducation (Goal 4). Therefore Tech
Tutors and Authors will continue to ensure that
#QualityEducation is visible and accessible not
only for children in the urban area but our main
focus will be on the "Low-Income" rural
community.
On 17th Feb., 2017 Tech Tutors and Authors'
educational corps moved to Aponmode/Moniya
Citizenship and Leadership Education
High School, Moniya, Ibadan after consultation
and proper acceptance.
The lead facilitator during the activities was able
to relate well due to the beautiful atmosphere of
reception because the facilitator was a product
of the same school he had come to preach
#QualityEducation.
What an experience for the facilitator.
It is clear that in order for you be a true Social
Development Specialist, you must first be
accepted in community, if not, you are just an
"online superstar"
The students were taken through value-added
topics in relation to SDGs and series of feedbacks
were recorded with appreciation from both the
teachers and the students.

Quality and access to education is a major Oguntunde (Social Impact Africa Project) in
concern in rural schools as there are fewer training and breakout sessions with students
committed teachers (The Bulk of the blame of Apete/Ayegun Community High School. It

The people in private school have access to a
good extent, quality education, instructional-

especially government owned schools.

Imagine learning taking place in a 16ft by
16ft classroom with at least 125 students in
class and 6 classroom available to JSS1 to SS1
in total with some students sitting on the
floor my guess, education should be given
more concentration in terms of funding
from corporate organizations instead of
entertainment, just like in the word of my
friend in the world of social development

According to United Nations: "Obtaining a
quality education is the foundation to
improving people's lives and sustainable
development. Major progress has been
made towards increasing access to
education at all levels and increasing
enrolment rates in schools particularly for
women and girls. Basic literacy skills have
improved tremendously, yet bolder efforts

are needed to make even greater strides for
achieving universal education goals".
To achieve the global goals especially
#QualityEducation, there is need to ensure its
availability and accessibility to the children in
the Less-Cities, without which all other goals
will not be achieve because education is the
driver for all other goals. The children in the
Less-Cities can receive quality education
without leaving their communities if we can
provide them with material for learning and
the quality support needed (Sufficient
classroom, Textbooks, Instructional Materials,
Chairs and Table, Library and Laboratory).

Most times in the process of social services
what matter most is not your physical strength,
what matter most, is what inspired you to do
what you are doing. My slogan has always been
"inspired from within" that is why I will never
commit myself to anything that did not come
from my within...
On March 2, 2017, the Tech Tutors and Authors
was represented by Olla John IamBezaleel
Oluwafemi but that representation does not
come without a cost.
The liaison teacher for the school craved my
indulgence to show up even if it means saying
hello despite m??y health condition.
To gain the heart of your audience, you must do
something that will make them trust and crave
your presence ...that is nothing but adding
VALUE.
A facilitator or teacher must love teaching and
not only love it but development a mastery in
it. Every situation, environment etc requires
different technique or approach as well your
person, mindset, condition and your audience

is a necessary ingredient for an effective learning
haven.
At Wisdom Ace School, despite my weakness, I
can't just let go of an environment where the
atmosphere of expectation was at its peak, and
"law of readiness" was at play... "the conducting
unit was ready to conduct" therefore the
inspiration from within came to the rescue and
we had a session of reading, chatting, storytelling
and feedbacks for a period of One and half hour
before I had to begged them to allow my ailing
body to rest.
Quality Education is not at play until learning is
from both end "teacher to student and students
to teacher"
When you study the curiosity of students,
especially when they are enjoying your lesson, if
you are sensitive and observant, you will learn
the better ways to approach them each day.

world where the 'have' and the 'have not' will
have access to the same #QualityEducation

There is need to address the issue of gender
equality among school girls, in fact, there is
urgent need for it!
While facilitating Gender Equality (Goal 5 of
the SDGs), I asked one of the girls in my own
group what she wants to become in future and
said, she wants to become a nurse. My next
question was why, why not a doctor and she
said all the girls in my area are nurses and the
only man in our house is the doctor.
W h a t I a c t u a l l y i n fe r r e d f ro m h e r
understanding of choice of career is that some
professions are for male while the others are
for female. Her experience formed the basis of
our discussion and now she wants to become a
doctor and she will like to work in UCH Ibadan.
To some people gender is fighting injustice
against women but to the girl, female gender is
about playing second class. As world changer
we need to reorient their mind. To me in that
environment Gender Equality is educating the
mind of the girls, to first believe in themselves

"Knowledge is power" - was the first thing the
senior prefect of the "WITH GOD THE KING"
Secondary School Tanfiani Area, Moniya,
Ibadan said while trying to appreciate the team
for a job well done by sharing with them the
purpose of SDGs and how it concerned them.
The greatest joy a facilitator can have is to get a
positive feedback on your rendered services.
The students were introduced to

- Educational Intelligence as well as
- Leadership Skill
After the facilitation, the students were made
to present what they have been able to learn
from their breakout session. The presentation
was a quick precise and short summary of what
they have learned. The students promised to
put to use, what they have learnt in and
outside of school.
