Objectives:
1. To enable to understand organizational behavior.
2. To strengthen the skills required in industrial/workplace settings
3. To understand organizational culture and ones own commitment.
4. To overcome stressful situations at workplace effectively with the help of psychological approach.
Course Outcomes
1. Students will have better understanding of organizational behavior.
2. Students will understand the concept of job satisfaction and commitment towards organization, and
finally become productive members.
3. Students learn different leadership styles and how to work in groups effectively
4. Students learn macro level concepts as organizational culture, change and development
5. Students will enable to manage stress at workplace.

Unit 1 Introduction Organizational behavior. Productive behavior, innovations in organization 4 hrs

Unit 2 Organizational Job satisfaction and organizational commitment, motivational theories and its 8 hrs
Behavior application in organizational set up
Unit 3 Group behavior Group behavior, group effectiveness, intergroup behavior and effective leadership 7 hrs
and leadership and management principles from Dasbodha
Unit 4 Organizational Organizational culture and climate, organizational changes and development, Social 5 hrs
culture corporate responsibility
Unit 5 Stress management Occupational stress, workplace stressors, emotional and spiritual intelligence and 4 hrs
at work place strategies for stress management.

* Course includes various Psychometrics tests, Psychological activities and case studies.
