CHSF Re-Launching

A CHSF Re-Launching was held in Saint Marys University in all

Departments on July 30th of School Year 2014, 1st Semester. All students were

required to bring their own cleaning materials and attendance was checked by the

respected officers in every Department.

The activity started at 3:30 in the afternoon, the 1 st attendance was also

checked (time-in). In the Department of SCSIT led by the Teachers-In-Charge

together with the Officers-In-Charge, many students participated in the said activity.

The 1st year students or the Freshmen were assigned to clean the two (2) Volleyball

Court near the Apo Pilo Building and also some part of the Mini Forest and its

periphery. They were supervised by Mrs. Armilyn Wais, Mrs. Milagros Constantino

and Mr. Rogie B. Taborda together with Julie Ann M. Dangan (ITGC Business

Manager), Stephen S. Castro (SCC Representative) and Gino Evander G. Cachola

(SCC Representative) as the Officers-In-Charge.

The Sophomores or the 2nd year students led by Dr. Raymond D. Elevazo and

Mrs. Essel T. Caaberal together with Gerlie Jane L. Belon (ITGC Auditor), Cyrelle

Shane S. Abalus (ITGC P.I.O) and Keempee Paul L. Dimal (ITGC Business

Manager) was assigned to clean the Pavilion (Baby) and the Mini Forest.
The 3rd year students or Juniors were assigned to clean the 1 st floor of the Apo

Pilo Building and the Mother Pavilion including its surroundings. The Teacher-In-

Charged whom supervised them were Mr. Luther King A. Tambaoan and Mr. Adonis

V. Garces. The Juniors were also led by the student officers; Ma. Angela P. Decano

(ITGC Secretary) and April Rose A. Damaso (ITGC Treasurer).

Last but not the least, the 4 th year or the Seniors students of SCSIT. The

seniors were assigned to take care or clean up the 2nd and the 3rd floor of the Apo Pilo

Building. Some of the Seniors were also assigned to help the Juniors in the Mother

Pavilion and its surroundings. They were supervised by the Teacher-In-Charge Ms.

Bermelita Tagtag and Mr. Alfred Benson Co. The Seniors were led by Jerickson S.

Chua the ITGC Governor, and Christian Jonathan S. Mania the ITGC Vice-

Governor.

The student brought them their sacks and garbage plastics, some of them

brought raffia broom (walis tingting) to collect the dried leaves. Students also pulled

out the unwanted grasses and plants around the Apo Pilo building and in the Mini

Forest. The grasses and dried leaves collected from the Mini Forest and in the

surroundings of the AP building were dumped in a designated area wherein it will be

collect by the Personnel-in-charge. The students who were assigned to clean the

building and the pavilion brought their broom (walis tambo) and rags. Other garbage

such as plastics, papers, other materials were collected and placed into their

respective garbage boxes according to their type (Nonbiodegradable, Biodegradable

and Recyclable). The activity ended at 5:30 in the afternoon and the checking of the

last attendance (timeout) was also done. The CHSF Re-Launching Activity was very

successful.
