Curriculum Issuance Policy

(Policy on issuance of certified copies of syllabus to students)

Lovely professional university (LPU) is one of the largest universities in the world offering
vast number of programs with wide-ranging courses. The certified copies of the syllabuses are
asked by the various institutions for the purposed of higher studies and thus, are required by
the passed out students. Curriculum of all programs offered by Lovely Professional University
(LPU), if required by the students of LPU, is verified and certified at Division of Academic
Affairs and a copy of the part of curriculum (Scheme, Syllabus, Academic Policies or any
other certification) is issued.
Curriculum of all programs offered by Lovely Professional University (LPU) is available on
the University Management System (UMS) free of cost for the students, however if the
students of LPU require certified copy of the curriculum, then the policy outlined below will
be followed:

Process
A student can requests for curriculum of his program either to be issued to him or to be sent
by LPU to any other University (relevant supporting document should be attached alongwith)
within India or outside India by applying through an application form.
1. Student can apply for getting certified syllabus of the partial scheme of their program
irrespective of the fact that they had passed the program or not. However, the certified
syllabus will be issued only for the courses passed by the students. University will not
entertain application requesting for the verification and certification of the syllabus of
the coursed in which students got F grade. All such application will be rejected and fee
will not be refunded.
2. Students enrolled before batch year 2006 have to apply for verified documents from
the Punjab Technical University. Verification and certification of the academic
documents will be done and issued by us for the batch year 2006 onwards. Application
received at LPU will not be processed and fee will not be refunded.
3. Apply to Division of Academic Affairs (DAA) directly or through email at
cpd2_daa@lpu.co.in as per the format Application Form for Issuance of
Curriculum. Application form is available on the website of the university. No
person is entitled to apply on someones behalf or receive his or another persons
certified academic documents from this office. In case emergency, the student should
authorise another person for receiving the documents.
4. Application form that is completed in all respects (along with original receipt of the
fee submitted) and signed by the students would only be given an application identity
(AID) that needs to be referred by the student and officials at LPU throughout the
process.
5. The certified copies will not be posted to any address apart from the authorised person
of an institution as mentioned in the application form by the student.
6. Processing fee of Rs. 500 per programme per set would be charged from the student.
Additional courier charges as prescribed by the University from time to time would be
applicable to the student in case of sending the curriculum to any other University by
LPU directly. Courier charger to receive the documents within India will be Rs. 100
and Rs. 2000 to receive the documents outside India for single verified copy of
syllabus of the program. Number of copies to be issued is subject to the fee submitted.
The fee will be charged independently for each Institution with the condition that the
number and addresses are specified in the application forms. If more than one copy of
verified copy of document is required then fee needs to be multiply accordingly.
Mode of Payment: - Payment of fee may be done via. any of the following modes:
a. Cash: The cash would be deposited directly at the account section of the
University. The Cash Deposit Acknowledgement Slip received from the
account section after cash deposit should be submitted along with the
application.
b. Demand Draft: A Demand Draft of prescribed fee would be made in favour of
LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY, payable at JALANDHAR
only. The draft would be deposited directly at the account section of the
University. The Draft deposit Acknowledgement Slip received from the
account section after draft deposit should be submitted along with the
application.
Issuance of curriculum would start only when the copy of fee receipt is submitted to
the Administrative Officer of DAA along with the application form.
7. The required documents will be issued after a period of 15 working days excluding
Saturday/Sunday and other Gazetted holiday from the date of submission of
application with prescribed fee. The university will not be responsible for any postal
delay by the third party.
8. Students will be called telephonically twice only to inform them about the status of the
certified documents. Certified academic documents can be collected personally during
the office hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) from Division of Academic Affairs, LPU.
9. In the event of non-receipt of certified documents within 30 days, the candidates
should write to the Division of Academic Affairs, Lovely Professional University,
giving full particulars to guarantee timely compliance.
10. Certified copies of the documents will be available till one month after the due date.
After that a fresh application has to be submitted with prescribed fee to receive the
documents.
