I lost my father in 2013. We were very close, spoke almost everyday. I am not
going to lie to you it wrecked me. I am also in my 50s. I dont know if you have
sisters or brothers, but one day I started texting them what I call
DadisumsJust funny things he use to say like Its like catching lighting in a
bag and they would respond with other onesIts makes us laugh and
remember him fondlyTakes some of the pain away, at least for us.And we
know one one of us starts these round of texts it a way of telling the other
person we are missing him today

Kim I know. My mom died in 2009 and we talked every night,
sometimes for a few moments and sometimes (many times) for two hours,
every night. I am not a mamas boy but I would walk the dogs and talk to
her. It is better but I still miss her. I have a peace. I still miss her but I have
peace.

I am believing that for you. You will see him again and it will be forever.
Thats very good and it keeps me going especially when I think about my
two girls. God is good. We love you. It gets better. Read the book linked
