Childrens Ministry
Childrens Ministry has a new contact email. Childrens Ministry

Student Ministries
Student Ministries will be on break for 3 weeks and will resume
again on Wednesday March 22nd.
James Gems
If you are a widow at Canyon and are not involved in our James
Gems widows ministry, we have several activities coming up for
these special ladies. Please call Lynn Penner, 928-778-2734 for
more information.
Womens Bible Study
Ladies, our weekly study in JONAH is March 21st April 11th. If you
were a part of our Ruth study, you do not need to register or pay for
Jonah. If you would like to be a part of our Jonah study, registration
is Sunday, Feb. 26 and March 5th at the Womens Ministry table in
the foyer at Prescott High School. Workbooks are $5 and will be
available for pickup by everyone on Sunday, March 12th. *Please
note: You will need to complete the first weeks lesson before our
first class. **Important Change for the evening ladies: We will be
meeting at Alta Vista Retirement Community (916 Canterbury Lane,
Prescott, AZ 86301) instead of American Warehouse. Call or email

Men at War
Our four-week study through Jonah will begin on Thursday March
23rd. Time and location will remain the same. If you were a part of
the Ruth study, there is no cost for Jonah. If you were not involved,
in the Ruth study, workbooks are $5. All can pick up their books on
Sunday March 12th during worship service. The first lesson should
be completed before Thursday, March 23rd. For more information,
see the churchs website.
Please remember water bottles only in the Ruth Street Theater.
 Monday
Review and pray over the following application questions
from yesterdays sermon:
Are there examples to follow? Commands to obey?

Thoughts about God? Principles to live by?
Tuesday
Salvation is not by works. If salvation, were by works, then
those who are saved would get the glory. It is by grace that
anyone is saved through faith and it is a gift of God, who
deserve all the glory. Salvation is not based on works, but any
good work that a Christian does are a result of Gods work in
the life of the believer as a new creation. Read through Ephe-
sians 2:1-10 and pray and thank the Lord for the work He has
done in you as a result of the free gift given by His grace.
Wednesday
It is not entertainment we need. It is truth. It is knowl-

Pray and ask the Lord to work in your life so that what
you seek is Gods knowledge and Gods truth in your life.
Pray that what you seek are things above and not that
which is of this world.
Thursday
Read 1 Peter 4:12-19. As the Apostle Peter, begins to bring
this letter to a close, he re-minds his readers that they
should not be surprised when they suffer. God uses suffer-
ing to purify the church. When suffering occurs the believ-
er should, without any reservation, give themselves to God
in their sufferings. When the Christian suffers they share in
Christs sufferings and are to rejoice because of this. Read
James chapter 1 and pray and ask the Lord that through
sufferings and trials that you would count it all joy (James
1:2).
