Theratingofthebreakerbythemanufactureritselfbeginswithaneducatedguess.
TheybringittoatestlabandseeifitcomplieswiththeULtestingresults.Ifit
doesn't,thentheytryagainwithalowerrating.Ifitcan'tpasstestsat10kAIC,then
itwillnotcometomarket,sincetheminimumratinggenerallyavailableis10kAIC.

Thencalculatethepointtopontshortcircuitcurrent:

Thiswouldgivetheshortcircuitcurrentanumberoffeetfromthethetransformerat
thebusplug.
Iftherearelargeloadsthattendtoberegenerativemotorstheycanaddtothefault
