1 Introduction
Factoring is an important part of understanding a pattern of numbers that
changes by a multiple of itself.
The incredible useful characteristic of quadratic equations is not how the the
pattern changes but what happens to the change of the change of the pattern.
For example, let us look at the the function f (x) = x2
