Introduce the Bushfire Patrol game to students and explain that this will
give them an idea of what might need to be done to prepare the home
leading up to bushfire season.
Direct students to discuss within their group what they thought was
most important in preparing the home.
Explain to the students that they need to follow the links to discover in
Google Doc
more detail fire prevention techniques.
- Ask students to summarise each technique in their group

The students understanding of how to prepare the home will be
gauged from their answers in the google doc
The understanding of how social media is used will be based on the
answers given by the students in the answergarden
