Time Motivation and Introduction:
Recap the information covered in previous lessons - In the previous
5 two lessons, we have learnt about the cause and impact of bushfires.
mins Now we need to know how we can prevent bushfires from happening,
and how we can best prepare ourselves and our families if they do
occur. Bushfire Patrol Game

Introduce the Bushfire Patrol game to students and explain that this will
give them an idea of what might need to be done to prepare the home
leading up to bushfire season.

Lesson Steps (Lesson content, structure, strategies & Key Questions):

Students to each log onto their computers and go to Lesson 3.

Explain to students that it can be difficult to know the path of a bushfire


and whether it is coming towards your property.
