1.3 Environmental Protection Summary

Most chemicals used in plate processing are strong pollutants and must not be
discharged into the sewer system without proper treatment.
The developer overflows on the FLP-1260 plate processors have been designed to be
plumbed to a waste container.
NOTE: The gum system is a closed loop (re-circulating) system which returns all gum
to its own replenishment container, so does not pose any effluent or disposal problems.
Most countries have strict regulations on this subject, and disposal of containers
with waste chemicals must be made according to these regulations.
Contact your plate and chemical representative and/or local water authority for
more information regarding the disposal of waste chemicals.

1.4 Electromagnetic Compatibility

This model fulfils BSEN 50081-2:1994 and BSEN 50082-2:1995.
