carry up to 1000 pounds and is less than 3 feet for loading and tilts for
dumping. The max load and towing capacity is 1400 pounds. It also
comes with many optional attachments that can make it even more useful.

The TE 4X2 is a quiet electric utility vehicle that can run all day on an
overnight charge leading no emissions and it does not require fuel. This
vehicle can haul up to 500 pounds. It also has a great cargo box for all

There are four gorgeous beaches located in Manuel Antonio National
Park which are Escondito, Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio, and Playita.

beaches is to be careful of rip currents which are common here.

Snorkeling

Two of the four beaches are good for snorkeling which are Espadilla and
Manuel Antonio beaches. Sometimes the water visibility is not really great
for snorkeling. This usually occurs due to rainy weather so for snorkeling,
visitors will want to try and come when the weather is drier.

Yellowfin Tuna

How to Catch a Yellowfin Tuna

Yellowfin Tunas have yellow sides, blue backs, silver stomachs and are
torpedo shaped. They are found in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian
Oceans. They like warm water and are a migratory fish. They like to eat
smaller fish, mackerel, sardines, crustaceans and squid. It is a very popu-
lar sports fish and can exceed 400 pounds.
Catching a Tuna
When fishing for these fish, you will find that they like to swim in very big
schools. They also like to hang out with purposes and can be caught by
fishing beneath the purposes. Some of the main fishing techniques
include trolling or using chum. For baits, they can be fished for using live
bait, squid or even artificial lures. They also love flying fish so these are
great bait to use. These fish do like to fight and can take a good amount
of time to get them into the boat.

They like to feed near the surface so topwater techniques can be used. It
can be really fun to use spinning tackles and poppers. A heavy spinning
setup is recommended for yellowfin tuna. The conditions have to right for
this type of fishing but when they are, yellowfin tuna are great to catch
using these methods.

They also have good eyesight so use fluorocarbon leader and the bait
presentation is very important. They are very leader shy. The better
eyesight of the yellowfin tuna also helps them feed at night as well.

Another tip is that they like to return to certain spots at certain times of the
year. A good guide that knows where these spots are can be a great
asset for catching these types of fish.
Cooking the
Yellowfin Tuna
This fish is a great source
of protein and is low in
fat. They can be used as
sushi, grilled, baked or
seared on a grill or in a
pan. If you are cooking it,
the best flavor is brought
out by grilling or searing.

A great way to cook it is

to marinade it and grill it
on your grill. Great
marinades can include
soy, lemon, Dijon mus-
tard and more. Grill over
medium heat.

Another way to cook yel-

lowfin tuna is to bake the
fish if you prefer.

Tuna Tartare is another

great way to prepare this
type of fish. This dish is
basically raw tuna, lemon
juice and some spices.
The fish can either be cut
into chunks or sliced and
can make for a very nice
presentation.
How to Catch a Yellowfin Tuna
Trolling is the main method of catching yellowfin tuna. For trolling, you will likely
want to have either a fighting chair or stand up harness to help with the fight the
tuna will give you. A good trolling speed is about 5 to 6 mph. You will also want to
get a gaff to get the fish into the boat.
Chumming or chunking is also great way to catch big yellowfin tuna. Big pieces of
mackerel, herring, or fish make great chum. It does take more than just throwing a
bag of chum overboard. Many different types of chumming works including block,
chunking, live bait, fish oil or a combination of these techniques. Soft chum can
work well because it can mix with sand and reduce the visibility to help hide your
lines and set ups.

Night time is also a great time to catch yellowfin tuna because of their good
eyesight. Because they can see at night, they will also feed at night which makes
them a good target for night fisherman. Also since it is dark, the fish will not be
able to see your fishing lines and leaders as well so they are not as spooked by
your fishing techniques. Be prepared for the big fish and use heavy gear to ensure
you do not lose that big fish. Using chum like mackerel or tuna at night also seems
to be very effective.

There are many variables that lead to a successful fishing trip and many of these
are based on the location that you are fishing in. If you are traveling to a location
you are not familiar with a great guide is necessary to help you find that big catch.
