Why is this City Build Where it is?

Everything exists where it does for a specific reason. Using what you know about site and situation,
you will be analyzing a real-world city to determine why it exists where it does.

Concepts Needed:
For this assignment, you will need:
- Solid understanding of Site and Situation AND Human Settlement Patterns
- Analysis of a capitol city within a country and its surrounding geography
- Mad report writing skills.

Checklist:
1. Choose a country within the world (not in North America)
2. Look at maps (Topographical, Google Earth, etc) of the capitol city within your chosen country.
3. Answer the following Questions about your country in a 1-page report:
- Where is the country located within the world?
- Where is the capitol city located within that country?
- Why is that city located there? (Site = Physical Enviro. & Situation = Relation with other cities)
- What is the population of that City?
- What is the size of City?
- What is the density of that city? (Sparse, Moderate, Dense) (Population divided by city size)
- Examples of Settlement Patterns within your chosen country (linear, Clustered, Scattered)

Report requirements:
The report is only one page (Front and back), including headings for each category and maps to show
location.
