Associated Learning Standard(s): The resource may be generally applicable, if so, simply state that.
List any ISTE-S standards that seem to naturally align with the selected resource.
This resource can be used in any subject but I feel it would work best with Social Studies, Government,
History, or even English.
This website will inspire student learning and creativity by adding the fun game element to the lesson,
and students can create their character and type which increases creativity.
Digital age learning experiences are shown using Classcraft
To model digital age learning I have to incorporate new and fun technologies like classcraft to collaborate
with my students and so they can collaborate with each other.

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

Classcraft is an interactive game world where each student can be rewarded for good behavior with hp
points, points can also be taken away for being late, etc. they can interact with other students to share
learning and compete.

INTEGRATION IDEA - COLLABORATION

How might you integrate this resource in a lesson plan to promote collaboration among students in your
classroom, or among students and others outside of the classroom?

Obviously this game would help with any behavior or participant problems that arise with any lesson but
for a specific lesson in social studies I could use this game for a lesson on the civil war. This could help
provide collaboration techniques as well as learning if half the class was the union and the other half
were the confederates.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Based on the value-added rating scale above, how would you rate the technology integration
you described, using the selected resource? I would rate this technology as a 2.
Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

Classcraft would enhance my lesson and increase student engagement for sure, but I would not describe
it as the only way to teach this lesson. Learning about the Civil War using collaboration could be done in
many different ways. I would however describe Classcraft as more than a nice supplement to a lesson,
and it would definitely be used by more than just the teacher.
