Training EA training will be offer to the team (SPED teachers, EAs, Admin) 16-17 SPED EA Kelly will send out an invite.
Training Next training is next week, Oct. 27th from 4 to 6. Teachers and EAs will be
paid. Please plan on attending as this will be beneficial for your team. Next week's
topic include: ZONEs, Behavior Mapping, What do I do when they do that responding
to avoidance, escape, attention seeking behaviors.

57 Questions - complete needs assessment to help identify solutions to programming Tara will send out google form
for individuals and program.

Verbal De-escalation training (CPI) - This may be a building wide training that we can Tara Nelson-Anderson
discuss.

CPI - EAs need training and should sign-up on keep certified. Tara Nelson-Anderson

Manifestation Looking at suspension data on Gerson Leon. Has he been out for 7 days? This student Kelly
needs an manifestation IEP team mtg.? Not sure if behavior tab data is missing.. Tara
did FBA last year. Is the team implementing the PBSP? Case Manager needs to
contact the coordinator and myself when a sped student is at 5 consecutive
suspensions or out for more than 10 days so that a Manifestation Determination Mtg.
can be scheduled.

PI Support There are several PI students who need various levels of support. Staff will observe Allison McKay
and consult. Allison will work with Student Name case manager to develop the annual
IEP.

SPED Curriculum Jen will continue her work in meeting with the case managers to identify areas of need
Support and then train.
SPED EA support Case Managers need to share EA support. The SPED EA Schedule needs to be Case Managers
updated with changes daily and shared with EAs every morning at a 10 minute check-
in meeting before students arrive.

Building Needs Marti has information that Santina shared and we can meet to discuss and plan. Marti Voight

Classroom/Building Once we get the 57 Question survey back we will meet with the team to identify a Kelly Anderson
Behavior Management system that will be used consistently within the SPED Program staff. Tara Neslson Anderson
*Question: Do you have a copy of the building expectations? Or information that goes Katie Batiste
out to all staff regarding classroom or building expectations? I would like to make sure
we align SPED expectations and language to the building.
