Whether temperatures, flow volumes, times, levels or energy consumptions must be measured, displayed
and controlled, this telemetry modules solve the problem efficiently, reliably and cost-effectively.

Integrated logic functions

The devices of the MT-100 series do the job of a PLC because of the integrated logic function. In event-
based mode, the modules operate autonomously and decide on the basis of the recorded digital and
analog states for example, whether an output must be switched or if the operator must be informed
about the current status.

Interfaces and I/Os

This telemetry modules provide a large number of digital inputs and outputs, as well as optically isolated
4 20 mA inputs. The ability to configure inputs as counters and frequency inputs, extend the application
area of these devices. If more I/Os are required, the EX-101 is recommended as an extension module.
Serial ports (RS-232/422/485) with a direct implementation of standard communication protocols such as
Modbus RTU, GAZMODEM, NMEA 0183 or M-BUS also enable the protocol conversion and transparent
transmission to a database.
The MT-151 also offers an Ethernet interface and can be additionally connected to other Ethernet de-
vices.

Data transmission
The data and states are transmitted via GPRS or UMTS to a computer or OPC server thanks to the inte-
grated modem.
The MT-151 also guarantees with Dual SIM and fallback redundant connections and high availability. For
events SMS can be sent via the GSM network.
