Course book:
Thompson et al. (17th/18th Ed.) Crafting and Executing Strategy, McGraw-Hill. The cases used are freely
available online at Studentportalen under cases.

Groups:
Student groups will be formed by the instructors consisting of 3-4 students.

Mandatory elements:
All elements in the schedule marked red are mandatory for course completion.

Absence:
Mandatory elements require full attendance. However, students may ask for permission in advance (only due
to personal reasons) to be absent during one out of four cases and one out of three strategy seminars. Those
absent will lose the opportunity to gain any credits on the mandatory elements missed.

Assessment:
Business Strategy uses a 100 assessment units-scale. At least 51AU are required to pass the course and at least
81AU are required to pass with distinction.
