When you thought that the debate on the veil was over - blowing female

government ministers up a hat storm.

"What do Bjorklund that female cabinet minister must have hat on state
visits?" Writes Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson in a post.

- I am ashamed of the government's women ministers, woefully comparing

hat with veil, said Gulan Avci, chair of Liberal Women.

The Finance Minister later took away his remarks and apologized.

During Monday began a four-day state visit from Canada.

The king has commissioned Governor General David Johnston and his wife
moved into the Royal Palace and the reception was magnificent worse
motorcade and several cabinet ministers in place during the welcoming
ceremony.

Among other things, EU and Trade Minister Ann Linde and received the
Canadian guests - which she immortalized in his Instagramkonto.

Linde, which caused a storm and critics debate that spread around the world
when she was Prime Minister of Sweden visit to Iran chose to cover his head
with a veil, now wear hat in the picture, and writes:

"As is the way the women ministers hat during state visits, welcomes General
of Canada".

"They lose all confidence"

In the picture that Ann Linde posted on Instagram is also Minister for Social
Annika Strandhll, Ylva Johansson, Minister of Labour, and Margot Wallstrm
lined up, all with some form of headdress.

- To my knowledge, we have no obligation to buy hat in Sweden or that there

will be some teams in Rosenbad on women to wear a hat. I think this is
orchestrated by the government, but if they think that this issue is about
winning in any debate so says something about this feminist government,
says Gulan Avci.

- They lose all confidence.

Moderate leader Anna Kinberg Batra is also critical of the red-green hat
parade during today's state visit.

- Keeping and quibble about hats for feminism not forward at all. To lead
delegations and meet other countries at high level are basically good, and
that Swedish women in high positions do it no matter what they wear.

- But the more they squabble, trying to make symbolic and starts Twitter war,
the worse the political debate and, at worst, feminism, says Anna Kinberg
Batra.

Criticism: "This is not wise"

Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson have also chosen to angle for crafts
debate to a question of hat or not. One of those most critical of the women
chose to cover their heads in Iran, Jan Bjrklund. On Facebook Andersson sent
a pass to the Liberals' leader:

"What do Bjorklund that female cabinet minister must have hat on state
visits?" Wrote Magdalena Andersson to a picture in which she is flanked by
Equality sa Regnr and Helene Hellmark Knutsson, Minister of Higher
Education and Research - also in the hat.

Magdalena Andersson's Facebook post.

This has got to Gulan Avci, Member of Parliament for the Liberals, to see red.

- This is not wise, I'm really dejected. How to downplay sljfrtrycket that is a
reality for so many girls and women. Magdalena Andersson is not anyone, she
is Sweden's finance minister. But our own Equality addition, figures on such
an image, miserable, said Gulan Avci.

- They have been so harsh in its marketing of the "world's first feminist
government." Through this document shows you how little knowledge you
have about oppression behind the veil.

Removed post

After criticism Magdalena Andersson chose to remove their posts from

Facebook. Late in the evening, she published a new post in which she
apologized:

"I realize that my previous post was misunderstood. My intention was of

course never to reduce the oppression of sljtvng. No one should doubt that
I stand up for gender equality and women's rights. The government has in all
contacts with Iran lifting situation of women and human rights in the country .
However, I tried to be ironic that Jan Bjrklund chose to make placards
political points on the government's Iran visit. it was not good, I pray, of
course apologize for. good night from Brussels. "
