EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Before there were malls in Butuan City, Butuanons used to enjoy

watching movies on the big screen in movie houses. There are once

three movie houses namely: Empress and Supreme who catered the demand

of the market in terms of cinema and movie theater. Unfortunately,

they are no longer operating due to fortuitous event that burn the

building. The city has now Gaisano and Robinson Movie House which each

has four (4) cinemas that currently serving the market. But

technically, theyre not enough to serve the whole population of

Butuan and including the residents from neighboring places.

HD Movie House would be the solution for the growing market. The

companys name was originated from the phrase High Definition in which

it is the business mission is to provide a high definition of movies.

HD Movie House will provide the residents of Butuan City a movie house

that would cater the target market; students, professionals and

families different from the established cinemas in the city. HD Movie

House, unlike from the usual cinemas, it has nine (9) rooms, three (3)

big rooms available for twenty (20) persons where you can watch with

your extended family and friends together and six (6) standardize room

for maximum of six (6) persons each where you can spend the movie with

your peers or family as it is in line with its vision of a homey

ambiance, a place where you can bond and feel relaxed while watching

high definition movies with satisfying and reasonably priced snack

foods and beverages together. This will operate every day in a week
from 10 am to 3 am with the shifting employees allowed for only 8

hours every duty.

This will be located at J.C Aquino Avenue, Butuan City beside

Banco de Oro passable by students, residents and by any mode of

transportations and where most business activity happened. This will

be established and operate with an initial investment of 4 Million for

the 7500 square meter cost of building and other facilities needed.
