UNIT 1 TEST

SPEAKING PAPER

TIME: 12 MINUTES

Teacher: Ask the student ONE question from EACH part of the test five questions in total. Mark
each part out of 5 (refer to the Teachers Guide for help). Total the students marks at the end and
divide by 2.5 to give their final mark out of 10.

For each part (15), once the student has spoken one or two sentences, move on.

Important: Ask students to use full sentences and not just give yes/no answers.

Part 1 (Grammar 1, Page 9)


Teacher: Ask the student ONE of these questions, A, B or C.
A What are you studying at school these days?
