Walking By Faith


"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that
he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6).

F aith is the response of the human spirit to Gods Word. The life you received
when you were born again is the life of faith. If youre not living this life, it means
youre not living the Christian life. The Bible in Hebrews 11:6 lets us know that nobody
can please God without faith. Theres no other way to receive from God but by faith. No
matter how nice or kind you are, if you dont have faith you cant please Him because
He is a faith-God.
There are people who love God and are kind, but when it comes to faith, they say,
How can I say I have something I dont have? The Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:7
said, For we walk by faith not by sight; this means that we dont live by our sensory
perceptions but by faith only. We dont conduct our lives according to our feelings,
taste or sight but by faith!
Without faith you cant excel as a Christian, because God can only relate with
you on the basis of faith in His Word. When you have faith, youll acknowledge that the
Word is the only truth to live by. Dont let anybody or anything destroy your faith.
Satans strategy is to get your faith out of you and get you out of your faith. If he can do
that, he can influence your life. But as Christians, were not going to defeat Satan; we
already have. Were not going to struggle with the devils. Our fight is not a fight with
devils, but the good fight of faith.
