Guild)
An extremely ancient guild, one of the first, that derived its
name from the
patren saint of Tailors and Weavers, Carzuani. The religion
that included
Carzuani, among other patren saints of various professions has
long died
out, though many of the names are still in use. The official
guild that
most closely resembles the current version, originated in
Triylar in Daere
domain.
The guild won't allow any sewing businesses unless the owner's
are members
of the guild. The guild however, doesn't attempt to regulate
sewing or
knitting done as a hobby or, in most women's case, because it is
a proper
thing to do. That would be impossible. People need only to
belong to the
guild if they are planning to sell their sewing skills for a
profit.

Another thing the guild does is to post lists of people looking
for
employment who belong to the guild. Those in the guild looking
for
apprentices, assistants and such, usually come here first. Most
of the more
succesful members got started this way.
There are no real ranks in this guild, though there are titles,
many of
which are taken from the old religion afore mentioned. These
titles are
usually used only by guild members. Occasionally they are taken
as sir
names and some even take them as their first. For example a
dyer might be
called Nara Dyer. This is discouraged because it makes book
keeping difficult.
The guild instead organizes by domain each with its own chosen
Headquarters.

The only real authority the A'Cazini has any more is as the head
of the rare
Council of Carzuani. This council meets only over matters that
affect all
the domains in the DragonLands (over matters of the guild and
otherwise.)
For these meetings, the Carzini of all the HQ cities in DL meet
in Triylar
and debate over whatever was urgent enough to warrant a meeting.
The
A'Cazini presides and gets to cast the last vote if a vote is
called for.
The meetings are so rare that they are much remarked upon.
