 The Emperor Xian Feng

The Xian Feng Emperor (July 17, 1831 - August 22, 1861), was the fourth son of the Dao Guang
Emperor and the seventh Qing emperor to rule over China, from 1850 to 1861. Chosen as the
Crown Prince in the later years of Dao Guangs reign, Xian Feng had reputed ability in literature and administration which
surpassed most of his brothers. He succeeded the throne in 1850, at age 19, and was a relatively young Emperor. He
inherited a crumbling dynasty that faced challenges not only internally, but also from Europeans. The situation was not
reflected at all by his reign title, Xian Feng (), which means Universal Prosperity. The Taiping Rebellion began in 1851,
and spread to several provinces with amazing speed. Xian Feng dispatched several prominent mandarins, like Zeng Guofan,
and Imperial relatives, like the Mongol general Senggelinqin, to crush the rebellion, with limited success. Several Muslim
rebellions in the southwest began in 1855.

Xian Feng died on August 22, 1861, was interred in the Eastern Qing Tombs (), 125 kilometers/75 miles east of
Beijing, in the Dingling ( Tomb of Quietude) mausoleum complex.

It is said that Emperor Xian Feng was originally advised to locate his tomb here, but
the final place instead because it was too much of a hassle to cross the river to get to
this spot. However, it is to his loss as this spot is powerful, with a Ru Yi Table Mountain
in front and a strong, protective embrace on each side.

The house is facing the sea, but the
island appearing in front acts as a Table
Mountain and helps to block Sha Qi
from hitting the house.

The house is located within a lagoon.
The lagoon acts as the White Tiger and
Green Dragon embraces to protect the
house.
If there is water in front of the house, it
is important to check the position of its
placement. It is important to use a real
aquarium with fish in it (any type of fish is
fine). The Feng Shui effects come from
the movement of the water, not from the
type of fish used.
