Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous

Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for
promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. The Institute invites
applications for the following project positions on contract basis:

Name of Project Ramanujan Fellowship
Funding agency DST, GoI
Minimum Educational qualification MSc in Physics with 60% Marks + minimum 3 years
Research Experience in Plasmonics, Nanophotonics.
Preference Research experience in the area of nanoscale plasmonics
(experimental). Finite element modelling experience of
plasmonic/photonic systems. Research publications in
related area. Qualified in any National level Examination.

Fellowship amount INR 30,000 (consolidated)
Age 32 years (with 35 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Womena
nd Physically disabled as per government norms)

Shortlisted applicants will be informed by email by 27 February 2017 and are required to attend an
interview on 1st March 2017 at IISER-TVM, CET Campus, Trivandrum.

A printed copy of this application form, signed by the applicant, recent passport size photograph,
photocopies of relevant certificates and other testimonials in support of age, qualification,
experience etc. will be collected at the time of interview. Applicants attending interview must bring
all certificates (original + one copy) for verification.
