Mildred 9/9/16 Blueberry Akutag Recipe Total Time: 2h 25min Prep Time: 1h 25min Ingredients: © White Fish © Shortening {Crisco} ‘© Vegetable Oil {Wesson Oil} © Sugar {White} © Blueberries {Wild, Fresh} Directions: Cut the white fish into 2-3 inch pieces and remove the head, tail, and guts. Boil the fish for 30 minutes and remove from the pot to cool. Remove the skin and the bones. Double check to make sure all the bones are removed, then squeeze the fish into small ball, to get rid of some of the liquid, In a large mixing bowl put the shortening and the vegetable oil, and balls of white fish. Mix well and check for bones {take bones out}. Add a ball or handful of white fish and continue to mix until all the white fish is gone. Add all blueberries and fold carefully {you don’t want the blueberries to smash). Enjoy! Refrigerate any left over akutag. Ethan.
