 1. Revise as-built drawings. Provide dimensions for cantilever and off-grid portions of
slab outline and mention height or partition walls in architectural drawings. Revise the
proposed architectural drawings and load plans if dining and prayer rooms are going
to be shifted within the building after the demolition of the roof-top sheds.

Response: a) Dimensions have been provided and height of partition wall has been mentioned
in architectural drawings. Please check the architectural drawing.

b) Dining and prayer rooms are going to be shifted outside the building confirmed
by the factory owner.

2. Revise as-built structural drawings. Revise beam layout as per actual condition. Mention
thickness of the retaining wall.

Response: a) Beam layout has been revised. Please check the as built structural drawing.

b) Thickness of the retaining wall has been mentioned. Please check the drawing.

3. Revise the live load plan as some mismatch found between the provided load plan and the
live loads assigned in FE model. Mention proper live loads for all the floor areas as per the
floor usage.

Response: Live load plan has been revised and corrected. Please check the live load plan.

4. Revise the FE analysis models. Some mismatch was found between the as-built drawings
and the models regarding beam layout plan. revise as per the actual condition. Assign all
loads properly in the models as some mismatch was found between the load plan and the
models. Assign correct dead loads in the stair zones. Revise the material properties for beams
which require strengthening.

Response: a) Beam layout plan has been revised as per actual condition and all loads have
been assigned properly in the models.

b) Correct dead loads have been assigned in the stair zones.

5. Revise the retrofitting drawings as per the corrected calculations and FE analysis models.
Mention the thickness of retrofitted MAT section. Correct drawings as some mismatch were
found between the retrofitting beam layout plan and the retrofitting model. Mention the
embedment depths of the reinforcements with chemicals to be used. Mention correct concrete
strength for retrofitting works in the drawings.

Response: a) Retrofitting drawings have been revised as per corrected calculations.

6. Revise the DEA report incorporating all the corrections accordingly including the
calculation for the adequacy check of strip footing. Provide recommendations for all the
issues mentioned in the initial inspection report.

6. Uncontrolled moisture on SE faade

-has been cleaned and removed.

7. Nonstructural observation, Fire escape stair leads to dead end

-has been recommended to open and take necessary steps for smooth
escaping.

7. Provide working sequence and time schedule for retrofitting works and QC agreement
signed by both parties (Factory management and Consultant).

Response: Have been provided.
