A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE SALARY AND SALARY RANGE

FOR THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OAKLAND PURSUANT TO THE
OAKLAND CITY CHARTER ARTICLE III SECTION 300

WHEREAS Oakland City Charter Article III Section 300 mandates that the City Council
conduct salary
a review to determine the Mayor s Salary in odd numbered years and maybe
provided for in the Charter and
adjusted by the Council as

WHEREAS the City Council has conducted a thorough salary review and determined the
ofthe salary for the newly elected Mayor therefore be it
appropriate range and placement now

RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby establish the salary ofthe newly elected Mayor
to be 183 395 00 per annum and the salary range for the position be established at 142 641 00
to 183 395 00
