Why quicken loans

I like that quicken loans believe in simplicity. Companies use

complexity to confuse the cutomers knowingly or unknowing. I
also love the fact that as a company you guys want to give
back to the detroit community to help them grow. I strongly
believe in the concept of mutual growth in the place where we
live. Detroit is slowly rising back from ashes and I happy that a
startup company like Quicken loans helps them to do it. I
prefer to start my career in a company like quicken loans
where they importance not only to their customers but also to
their workers. The proof is that you guys bought the 100 place
to work in IT for the last decade and more. And in my case #4
in internship. I strongly believe that I can grow my self as a
professional and also as a good human being in quicken loans.
Thats y I think quicken loans is best for me.

Why analytical operations?

I used to work as a data manager for my undergrad college as
a part time job. Thats what first introduced me to data
analytics. All I had to do was input set of data about student
and sometime gather set of data about them. This made me
curious. Not the programming part but the decision making
part after this. I am curious by nature following Steve jobs stay
hungry. Stay foolish.

The technology industry has been working at improving decision-making in

organizations for decades by finding increasingly better ways to inform
decisions and decision-makers.

The complexity and immediacy of operational decisions outstripped the

capacity of information systems, until recently. Operational Analytics, on the
other hand, o ers the promise of automating analytics in order to reach end
users (or systems) during the decision-making process itself, leading to
Operational Intelligence.

The economics of Operational Intelligence are also very different from

existing forms of data-driven decision-making and decision automation. In
addition, the big data approach aims to gather data in one place for many
uses rather than making copies and subsets for silos of users, increasing the
cost and complexity of the environment. The components of the big data
approach are almost entirely born in the cloud, so implementing in various
cloud configurations is much simpler than integrating the legacy tools
described above.
Operations intelligence is what I hope to achieve by combing the concepts of
process improvement, project management and supply chain management
in Industrial engineering and the data analytics. I strongly believe this is the
future. Thats my view of Analytical operations.

My internships

I worked as a warehouse intern in Hyundai motors for a span of threee

months. I told them about my concept of Operations Intelligence and
processes improvement and they were curious about it. They gave me a
chance to improve an already set process. The proces of improving the
transportation of knock down parts. It may not be as big, but it directly
related to the thorughput cycle in a facoty.I lead a team of twenty workers in
gathering data from their online informations about the number of parts
improted from the viours factories arounf the globe and then the
communication between different groups within facotry. I was able to
improve the method that was already there and made it more efficient by
10%. This may not sound great but in a span of three months and with the
amount of workers under me, it was a great improvement. In the monetary
wise I think I save them nearly$ 60,000 per day.

Next I worked as an process imprvemnt intern at lovely offset printers, they

are the largest printers in Asia. They had a peculiar problem of high level
down and men ready time for the Heidelberg speedsters machine. I took the
data of their precious work ranging for nearly six months and studied them.
And found the pattern in which the work goes on and around. After detail
studying data, we introduced six sigma concept in that part of the company
and made an improvement of 30% less downtime and makeready time.
Thats my internship experience

I am Partha. I am friend of Ashok srrenivasan. He called me that I have been

scheduled an appointment on tureday next week. I just wanna confirm cause
I Didnt reciveve any mail
Introduce ant urself

I am an International student pursuing my masters in Industrial engineering

and did my undergraduate in mechanical engineering with nearly 3 years of
parttime experience related to managing data. I have spent most of my
college time driving towards data analytics. Its where I know another
industrial revolution 5.0 will take place. I also worked as a warehouse intern
in Hyundai motors for nearly 4 months. I have also organized several of my
college symposiums and conferences and also won the best English
proficiency award for four straight year in my college. I want to feel the
American way of work and its ethics and this job really excites me and
having my first job under you will be the best.

Subs

Engineering economics and cost analysis, TPM, Principles of management. I

applied it in Hyundai and now at grad school.

Work

I performed several tasks like Both inputing and retrieving data pertaining to
admissions,Segregation of transcripts, keeping them in corresponding
candidates files file, data mining etc.

Front desk

I will answer inquiries regarding admissions, status of applicants, call backs,

and checking and making appointments.

Data research

Luckily I did a research paper along with my prof during my undergrad about
the time I worked at Hyundai motors. While I was there I improved an already
existing process of parts moving. I mined tons of data from their system and
studied the pattern in it. After that we improved the process. I learnt SQL of
this project. My method is right now being used in all of the Hyundai factories
in India.

Weakness

I am too much of a perfectionist.

I work too hard sometimes
I am very shy when in a crowd
Delegation

Strengths

Problem solver, strong work ethic, reliable, honest and team player
