 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

In performing my CSP, I had to take the help and guideline of some

respected persons. The completion of the hours in Welfare Department and
Education Department gives me much Pleasure. I would like to show our
gratitude to Sir Muhammad Ghazal, for giving us a good guideline for CSP
throughout numerous consultations. We would also like to expand our
deepest gratitude to all those who have directly and indirectly guided me
during the completion of CSP hours in Welfare Department. I am very
thankful to HOD of Welfare Department, Senior Member Mr. Baghdad
Raza and Muhammad Shahid who cooperated with me in a very polite
manner.
Introduction:
Saylani Welfare Trust International is one the big welfare of Pakistan that is
working for the welfare of Pakistan. This institute is working for the poor
and needy people of Pakistan. The work they are doing is to be done by
the government. I really appreciate the working and organizational
structure of Saylani welfare trust.

Saylani Welfare is a registered charity and an independent Non-Governmental

Organization founded in Karachi, Pakistan. Inspired by Islamic values and teachings,
Saylani Welfare is tackling the root causes and effects of poverty of Pakistani citizens.
Founded in 1999 by Moulana Muhammad Basheer Farooqui. Al-Hamdullilah! By the
grace of Allah, this organization is serving the poor and the distressed people of our
society since 5th May 1999. We are a part of a society where the majority of the
people residing in villages and towns are living below the poverty line and even
deprived of the basic necessities of life. The poor and the needy People are helpless.
This organization spends time with them and is fully aware of their problems and
weaknesses. Therefore, The Organization want to help them in such a way that all
financial aid is free from interest. In view of all the difficulties faced by the poor,
Saylani Welfare International Trust has organized 63 different sectors to sort out the
problems of the ones who are in need. These departments are efficiently working for
the cause of the society.
By the Grace of the Almighty Allah, it can be proudly said that this organization has
become a back-bone of the poor society and provides help after a complete inquiry
survey. This organization receives aid from different parts of the world. Each and
every penny is spent after a strict inquiry and a utilization report is delivered to those
who send this aid to us. In this report, addresses of the people to whom these
donations have been given, is mentioned with details. This shows that the money has
been given to the right people. So, the people can also contact these people with the
help of their addresses and get a confirmation whether the organization has provided
them with the aid and if they are really the ones who deserve. In a way, the sadaqa or
zakaat is being spent with their own hands. Our aim is to inquire and survey to find
the ones who need us.

Departments:
The organizational structure of Saylani is divided into four different
departments. They are as follow:
 1. Welfare Department
2. Mass-Training Educational Department
3. Food Department
4. Medical Department
All these department is sub-divided into different branches so that the
things are manageable. In my visit to the head office of Saylani Welfare
Trust International Bahadurabad Karachi I have learnt a lot. It is not an
easy job to serve the needy peoples.

Welfare Department:
I have spent 10 hours in the welfare department during my CSP. The HOD of welfare
department of Mr. Fareed Attari. He deals with all the work and problems of welfare
department. The welfare department is sub-divided into three parts.
1. Asaan Rozgar Department
2. Mahana Kifalat
3. Quraz-e-Hasan
I worked in the Mahana Kifalat department lead by Mr.Baghbad Raza.
Basically, the main function of the welfare department is to give money to the needy peoples.
They give the monthly payment to their card holders. The card is only given to the Widows
(Bewah) and Madrasas. They give the monthly one-time payment for the needy peoples. The
check and balance in the department is very good. Every is good and manageable. They also
give the Jehaz for the Weeding.
All the things are done according to the Islamic teaches. There is also a procedure for the
inquiry. For that purpose, an inquiry bench is made. Before granting the Jihad or Mahana
Kifalat Card the inquiry is made to the respective person. A team of two or three people visits
the home of the applicant and check for the validity to use the money of Zakat. In the same
way, other sub departments work.
The whole system in the Saylani welfare international trust is computerized so that no any
person can make the double entry.

CONCLUSION:
Saylani welfare trust is cause of hope for the poor and needy people of society, it provides
financial, medical and social support to the needy people without shaking their dignity and
honor. Saylani welfare trust receives donations from all around the world and provides it to
the needy people after transparent inquiry system.
EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
In my CSP period in Saylani welfare trust I have worked for 10 hours in
Education Department. Saylani welfare trust is providing free technical education. It has very
well equipped labs with state of the art computer system and qualified faculty.

Saylani welfare trust is providing technical education in several fields in IT

like mobile software development web designing etc. some of the courses are listed below.

Saylani Mass Training Department is one of the Department which is running under Saylani
Welfare Trust Management. This department is related to Saylani education Board.

Saylani Mass Training & Job creation Program is Devonta, which calls itself an
apprenticeship on steroids, is one of a new breed of computer programming school thats
proliferating in San Francisco and other US tech hubs. These hacker boot camps promise to
teach students how to write code in two or three months and help them get hired as web
developers, with starting salaries between $500 $1000, often within days or weeks of
graduation. Were focused on extreme employ ability.

Saylani Mass Training has trained about 500 students, and 95 percent of them have been
hired as software developers within a few months pf graduation. Its now opening campus in
all over Pakistan.

Targeted Plan:
The target is to train 10,000 Mobile and cloud software developers each year, for the next five
years. This will generate additional 50,000 support jobs each year. It is projected that it will
inject at least $100,000 per year into the Pakistan Economy. In total, it will increase exports
by $ 1 billion each year.
